How much does tutoring cost?
Tutors set their own hourly rates depending on subject and experience. Most lessons cost £20–£45 per hour. There are no placement fees or hidden charges from TutorNetwork — you always pay the same as if you went direct.
Do you charge parents?
No. Parents pay only the tutor's usual hourly rate. We may receive a referral fee from our tutoring partner — this is simply their marketing cost and never increases the price you pay.
Are the tutors DBS-checked?
Yes. We require providers to verify a current Enhanced DBS check before any work with under-18s. We don't carry out the checks ourselves, so we always recommend you also do your own due diligence.
What if the tutor isn't the right fit?
You can always ask for an alternative. There's no obligation to book and no commitment — lessons are pay as you go.
How quickly will I hear back?
